First timer to the hobby coming in June cannot wait! Any general advice on Jaco in June like weather, food, first timer tips relevant to the recent Cocal scene? What about the scene at other places such as Le Loft, Orange pub, Jaco blu beach club, etc? Any non mongering activities that wouldn't take me too far but worth an experience? Any reports on Puddlefish brewery or other good local beer?

Im commenting on your question of LeLoft/JacoBlu/Puddlefish/
Orange/& also a scenic activity.

*LeLoft is one of very few Jaco bars with a full *24hr liquor license*. Thats its main advantage is after other bars close. Then late nighters can go there to continue after other bars close.
LeLoft having a *re-opening March 10 2022.
Its on 2nd floor. Small place. No bar seating(never was). No real dance floor. 'vip' couches along 1 wall.
TBD how popular LeLoft is now in 2022?
( it was closed in 2020 & for most of 2021)
That entire iconic 5 flr 'red' building that Le Loft is on the mkt for sale.

*Orange Pub mostly locals & tourists.  Bouncers in front control monitor entrance.

*Puddlefish is great brew pub type place in industrial style bldg. Lots of hostel backpackers, surfers, people whi like microbrewerys  etc.
Its very south end almost at rt34. I would usually taxi there & some nights music band. Check their FB.
(Not a wrking girl place)

*Public House Jaco. Also has big selection of beers & good food. It is right at central Jaco.
Public House owner used run the very gringo popular Dos Amigos. Before that bar sold/torn down.

*Jaco Blu was very popular on their one night a week 'ladies night' But that was *pre covid*..  TBD how it is 2022?
(Jaco Blu Their primary business is a pay fee & use their swimming pool/locker rm for a day

*A fun non bar activity is:
El Miro trail/viewpoint!
A short walk hike with a spectacular viewpoint of all Jaco beach from above.
Trail entrance is on rt 34 across from Delta gas station at South end of Jaco.
Its 1/2 hr walk up to the viewpiont. Free.
Just google 'El Miro Jaco' & you will see all the info & fotos.
Best to go early morning before gets hot.
Last time there Nov. 2021, I took chica on El Miro who liked exercise walking.

Work on your negociating abilities because the Cocal chicas can be sharks. Many insist on payment up front. I went thru 4 chicas before I could get one to agree accept payment afterward. Pay cash for every drink at the Cocal. I told the chicas that if you don't trust me to pay afterward then we don't need to be together and then I watch many walk out the door. lol

After I got some experience here, I always stated I pay afterwards. Before that I never mentioned it because 99% of the girls know that they will get paid, but one time before I adopted that policy and the reason why I adopted it, at HDR I had one surprise me by standing her ground no matter what I said, showed her the money, etc.

It killed my mood and I then realized she was a hustler and probably would deliver mediocre to bad rushed service, so I agreed, enjoyed the surprised look on her face and handed her 10 mil, and said "You can go now, that's for your time"...

I still remember her slamming the door on her way out...
