Just booked a trip to San Jose for early April. Hopefully the Covid restrictions will have lightened up by then. Staying a few nights in the Sportsmens and then a few at the Taormina.
Looking forward to visiting the "new and improved
" Del Rey bar and maybe a couple of Tico strip clubs if they are open.Also just scheduled an October trip to Thailand. Patience paid off as I was able to book my flights in Delta's premium cabin (Delta One) for only 240K miles. Lately these have been running between 500K and 600K miles.
The flights are pretty good, 24 hours each way from Ohio to Bangkok. Plan to spend most of my time in Pattaya and a few nights in Bangkok. Hopefully their Covid paranoia has subsided a bit by then.
