Okay, I'm editing this. The Sportsmen's Lodge will be hosting their annual Fourth of July party on Friday, July 5th. So as not to conflict, I'll be celebrating my birthday on its actual date, July 4th, Thursday.

How about a party?

My 62nd birthday falls on Thursday, but I thought I'd wait until Friday night to celebrate. I'll make arrangements; perhaps the SL will allow me to use the bar area in the Mansion wing. There will be some kind of food and drink...and of course, we can all invite the most beautiful, skilled and personable chicas to join us! Let's party, my friends...and if nothing else, we'll use the party meet-up to throw together a strip club tour or something...maybe an orgy with the f**king machine etc. Hope to see you there. If you will attend, give me a heads up here with a reply to this post. Thanks!

Yessir. I'll be in the Mansion wing on the bottom floor. Wanted Mono for my birthday, but no dice. Also, we may do the celebrating the actual night of the Fourth. I forgot about the SL golf outing and 19th hole party Friday night...don't want to conflict. And yes, I'll take that drink (don't drink beer; trying to maintain my girlish figure). :lol: But, I'll happily take a whiskey rocks. :D :idea: We'll see you...so to speak.

Yes, definitely we'll have to celebrate my birthday (and Independence Day) on Thursday, July 4, 2019. I don't want to mess with a bunch of drunken golf addicts. :lol: :P :lol: We'll do a little something Thursday night, then.

I just extended my trip to be in town until the 7th. Not sure where I'm going to stay for the second half yet. Was considering checking out SL for the first time, but they appear to be booked up my last night in town.

Anyway, I see lots of Whiskey talk here. If there is decent bourbon to be found in SJ, I'd be glad to buy a round.

Foodude! Great to hear from you. Do you by any chance have L.C.'s number? Would love to visit with her outside the SL, from which she has apparently, been banned. If nothing else, dinner and a drink with her. Would love to hear the real story...and I'm sure she'll tell us in her usual, emotive way.

Awesome news that you'll be in town when I'm there! I'm in Puma (unless el Mono opens up through a cancellation...I'm on a waiting list).

I am blind with grey hippie hiar, good Spanish and typically a poon-eating grin on my face, very common when I'm at my second home, the SL. Don't know which room you'll be in... but I will be back in the Mansion. Any hotel employee, 80% of the girls and the security guys can all point me out to you. :D :lol: BTW, as it is your first trip, be sure to let me know how I can help make your trip even more awesome than it already will be. My first trip to CR lines up perfectly with this Party. May i join and take you on the offer to properly integrate me amongst the CR vets?

I arrive Jun 28. Staying to nights in SJ, gonna go to jaco for the week and will be back in SJ in time for the party.

Greetings, all. Dont mean to thread crash, but this is somewhat on topic and I didn't think my question warranted a new thread.

I'm headed to CR for the first time on the 3rd and was planning on spending my first night in SJ, then two nights in Jaco, then back to SJ for my last night. Then I came across this thread and saw SL was going to be having a party on the 5th.

With only four nights to burn, I want to get the most out of my time. Any input as to whether I should do Jaco or just styin SJ? Unfortunately the Cocal is booked, but am booked at the SL for the 3rd.

GPD... 1.) It's the rainy season. The beach won't be that great (although the hunting at the Cocal is always good). 2.) San Jose is full of working ladies, many of whom are a bit more needy for work during this rainy time of year with fewer tourists. I'd stick with SJ and save Cocal/Jaco for another time, but that's just me. JMHO. Hope to meet you on the third. We're partying the 4th, the big SL party is the 5th...there will be lots to do for you. Looking forward to meeting you!
