I'm headed down to Tijuana from April 18th to the 22nd? I know it's a long shot, but by any chance, will any of you guys be down there? If so, you want to meet up for a beer? Respond here or send me a PM. Thanks!

I hope you know that is Easter weekend. Mongering is terrible in the rest of Latin America during that timframe, I would not expect Mexico to be any different.

Just wondering how the border crossing will be with all the problems going on with the illegals. I had thought about heading to TJ in May but was reluctant to make definite plans.

I think things are pretty normal.

SinCity, I think your post merits a more serious reply from me. As I implied, I've never experienced a time when Tijuana has been dead, and that includes Christmas. That said, I'm one of the few people in this world who likes Tijuana for what it has to offer besides screwing hookers. LOL. I like the town itself. I love the food. I love being able to practice my Spanish, and I love the scenery. Scenery referring to the beach at Rosarito. Related to food, I also want to try the lobster tacos near there, which are world famous. So, even if the mongering scene is kind of dead, I have plenty to occupy my time. Less of a hooker scene available= getting more work done on my laptop for my job as well. So, in my view I can't go wrong. I regret if I sound like I'm from the Tijuana board of tourism. LOL.

last time i was in Rosarito must have been four years ago
it was an absolute ghost town w virtually no one but the people who were working there
beachfront rooms at Rosaritio hotel for $50
and the atmosphere was shear desperation on the beach w relentless hawking of anything and everything
as far as holiday schedule goes i'm sure there are girls since the whole point of whoring is to find money for family
and some of them can't afford to get back home
but 100% the selection goes down w Christian holidays in latino countries

I was there around last Christmas and Rosarito seemed happening and lively. As I indicated, I hope to try the lobster tacos either there or in Ensenada. I actually hope it’s a ghost town this time around. I’ve come to hate big cities and big crowds. It’s why I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere with more cows than people. Ha ha.

I’m sure you’re right about the hottest girls not being available, but we’re speaking of Latinas, and my fetish for them is so strong, I get an erection from plain jains and fat ones. LoL.

TC,
back in my younger days I cruised down Mx. Hwy. 1 many times. We used to play golf in Rosarito, Tj, & Bajamar, rent horses on the beach in Rosarito & for lobster, Puerto Nuevo, a small village a few miles south of Rosarito is the goto place, nicknamed "Lobster Village", every restaurant in town specializes in lobster, mostly pan-fried. We always ended up boozing it up @ the original Hussongs Cantina in Ensenada. Good luck on your pursuits.
