Good Luck with that. Those 2 person charters are cost prohibitive for most of us. You may have better luck joining up with a 3 or 4 person charter. If you don't get an invite and you are going to be down there anyway, just go to the marina early morning or contact them ahead of time and see if there is an open spot. It has happened before. Guys get drunk, sleep in, lose interest, etc., etc. Best bet if you don't get an invite is to ba at the dock ready to go. Also you can go to "Share a fishing charter dot com" and monitor any upcoming trips out of Los Suenos (Puntarenas) or start your own trip and see if anyone will join you. I've never used them so I don't know all the details of the website. Again, the best bet would be to be at the dock early a.m. and be ready to go, meaning have about $700 cash ready to drop.
