I am a newbie to this site and will be a first timer in CR from 10-Aug to 14-Aug. Staying at SL. I'm 51 years old and from Alaska. I would appreciate an experienced wing man for navigating the gulch.

I will be staying at SL 7-Aug to 14-Aug. I am always up for a beer and being wingman. Send me a PM. You are jumping right into the CR experience with the Miss SL contest your first day viewtopic.php?f=24&t=51039

You should consider joining CRT. SL gives a 10% CRT discount, room, food, and bar. During your visit rooms are discounted 15% or 25% viewtopic.php?f=24&t=50927 $39 fee will pay for itself in your first visit. You can choose to pick your card up at the SL front desk as an option when you join. Very easy.

I may also be there Aug 9-11... if so, I'll buy you a beer also... If I can pick your brains about Alaska... thinking about doing a trip on the Alaska Marine Highway System in October from Bellingham Washington to Juneau... Been to CR 15 times.... :)

Third time is a charm. . . Not a great year for Salmon for some reason. Bad year for Kings and Reds. The Silvers seem to be coming in a lot better though. You’ll gave fun in any s day. Enjoy Alaska. I know I’ll enjoy Costa Rica.

At the Miami Airport waiting for my connecting flight.... I’ll be staying at the La Amestad up the street from the Sportsman... saw the flyer on the door for the festivities Friday night last week when I was down and figured it deserved a return trip! Whatsapp number is +506-6181-7325 ... I’ll turn it on when I land there in CR... about 8pm tonight is scheduled time. I’m planning on going down to Monica’s tomorrow morning around 10 if anybody’s interested... plan on taking a cab... may walk back afterwards
