So I am coming to SJO on Friday for 2 weeks. The weather forecast looks absolutely crap. Can someone please reassure me that it’s not going to be 24/7 rain for 2 weeks. Thanks

Typically September and October are the high intensity rain days, the next couple months, assuming you're spending most of your time in the gulch, is overcast and cool, with afternoon showers, maybe some days a full rain off and on, but usually not a powerful rain. If you're coming for a week or so, you'll have plenty of dry time.

The mornings are generally nice with rain in the afternoon and early evening. The rainy season is actually my favorite time to visit, as I live in the desert.

I was just in CR Last week. It rained a lot, but it was never a total washout. I had to take a few Übers instead of walking; not a big deal. Having said that...I preferred the weather in March.
