Post subject:  Semi-Newbie Trip: Jan 25-29
This will be my second time going to San Jose but the first time (4 years ago around Memorial day weekend) I went I stayed in San Jose 2 days and Jaco 4 days. I was sick for most of my time in Jaco though :(

I dont really have a plan but I have 3 other newbies coming with me so I think we can figure out something. We are staying at the SL. I'm celebrating my 40th birthday while we are there.

oh yeah I never made it to any of the Mp's the first time I was there and I plan to at least go to a couple of them this time. The first time I was there I stayed at Hotel Little Havana and they had a special going on that a tica came with the room each night we stayed there.. The pickings were slim so I only used one day of my pass.. lol

If anyone will be there around those dates let me know and Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I will be there same time, at Castillo. Will frequent DR and SL often, see ya at the bar and go from there....

Cool, I'm debating on going to Jaco for a day on Saturday. Do you think we should? I've been before but the guys havent. I wanted to visit longer so i could do both but I have some other things going on so i had to shorten the trip. Do you think its worth goin to Jaco for a day? And about how much is transportation round trip. I've been looking at this site and i see some people have caught an Uber to Jaco

I can’t say if going to Jaco is worth it or not. I haven’t been there. I have read a lot about pro’s and con’s. For me, the Gulch has all I need. Between SL, HDR, the Pensions? What more can I ask for. Add to that, I have read posts lately saying it is a buyers market?
I would stay in SJ if I were you.
