This is my 2nd trip to Costa Rica but my first for adult fun. I'm staying at sportsman lodge.

Glad you found your way to this site. Read as much as you can here for the next week and you will be an expert before wheels touch ground. Then you will walk into the DR for the first time and look like a deer in the headlights again. I will see you next Thursday!

no it doesn't, that map will confuse you. it shows a funky circuitous route to get there, just click on the pedestrian in the upper left and you'll see that La Amistad is a short walk up Avenida 11 from the SL

not far but if you are walking at night be careful of trannies and walk in groups
keep a fast pace and stay in the middle of the street for safety
new guys are prime targets for a cornholing

Come out of Sportsmen and go left.. walk to the corner and walk up the hill.... La Amistad on the left
