Hiya All,
Am a newbie visiting CR/SJO first time this weekend... ready through the newbie rules and tip list. Great info..

Will be in SJO Friday and saturday night. Am staying at the SL. Is that the best place to pickup .. or should I try other places too like DR and Zona11.
What is the average price to bargain for a 8 to 10 Tica.
And as been discussed should we never pay the Tica before the session.. as in other places I have been to for mongering they usually as upfront..

Appreciate any info.. TIA

Yes, check out different venues. If you go to Nordstrom's to find a shirt do you just stay there if you don't find one you like?

$70 plus or minus $10 depending on you and a laundry list of variables. Add $30 or more if you don't recall the tips you allude to reading...

You can pay upfront at Zona II or other MPs.

Thanks Hotdogg.. I arrive pretty late into sjo on friday.. around midnight.
At that time what are the options...would there be any action at SL. Heard it is pretty calm at SL that time of the day..
What other places to explore after midnight without wandering too much..

At that hour HDR. SL will have all but turned out the lights.

Strip club Alcazar is an option with 1 on 1 private time available on site. For a first timer alone... I can't recommend it unless A) you speak spanish or B) meet some guys interested in going with.

Taxi everywhere after dark. It's cheap.

Friday night, midnight: Alcazar, J&N, Le Gri. Strip clubs are your best bet. Just don't ask a cabbie to take you to a strip club. You'll end up at Lipstick or Tango India!!

The HDR will have the leftovers and second-dippers. :mrgreen:

Actually, he arrived Sunday night after midnight. The Del Rey was next to dead at 1am but took him to Alcasar where he met someone who entertained him. The great thing about San Jose is that if you know where to look, you can find someone to have fun with almost 24/7.

Useless trivia, I was told by a Costa Rican that the word putta is a slang shortened word for prostituta, like ho is slang for whore. In any event, I love em all! :mrgreen:
