Heading to my all time favorite monger destination Phuket, Thailand March 18th with a stop in Singapore on the flight there and also flight back to the states.

I prefer going thru Bangkok, but like years in the past, Singapore this time was $600 cheaper than going with stops in Bangkok with United.
Don't get me wrong, I love Singapore as many of you may know that have mongered here before, Orchard Towers (4 floors of whores), Geylang and many of the clubs are what I love about Singapore.

I bought a RT ticket with Tiger Air for $134 from Singapore to Phuket witch makes it very much cheaper then going thru Bangkok. Air Asia is another airline that I have used many times in the past going to many destinations in Asia.

I will be in San Jose Superbowl week staying at La Amistad if anyone wants to possibly talk about a trip to the Land of Smiles.

In my opinion, it just does not get any better then Phuket. And I have been mongering this world for over 30 years now.

Safe travels all..

I really enjoyed Singapore.

You can have the Orchard Towers, it was way overpriced. In the Vietnamese bar on the first floor, guys were being quoted $ 60.00 for a lady drink. The Russians on the top floor were good to look at but................. Coming out it was after midnight, and apparently there is a service charge for after midnight. We found a van with lights and a very loud sound system. We cut a deal for the six of us, and he said O.K., but no sound/lights. We were less than a block when he cranked up "Country Road" and the lights. We were quite a sight, with the windows down, and singing all the way back to our hotel.

We stayed in the Gaylang District. It was pretty funny that the cab drivers didn't even want to take us there, "too bad an area". Our hotel was very basic, but clean and inexpensive. I never felt in danger at any time. The alley just outside was the outdoor "Casino's". Cardboard set-ups with dice and card games. Hookers from all nations. It was a first for me, I had never seen an Indian woman in her native dress available. They have lookouts and apparently the police were coming and it was amazing within five minutes there was nothing on the alley. The next 3-4 blocks were all the houses.

There were plenty of very good places to eat in the Kays (sp?). It is a boardwalk area, around the water, with many fine restaurants.

All-in-all I would rate Singapore as a very good mongering city.

Health & happiness............
