First post, first time in San Jose, odd circumstance. ..I think.

I have a couple questions after much reading...I'll ask them in sequential order of my trip.
I know to change money upstairs, but my flight arrives @ 8pm. I have looked on here but haven't found the hours the upstairs bank is open @ SJO.
Although this is my first time in San Jose, I actually own a small house with ocean view South of Uvita, speak decent Spanish and have been visiting CR for 15 years. I have been separated from my wife for over a year and it is headed for a permanent split. I discovered that my wife has had several affairs (7 that I have found out) so although she swears she will never do it again, it's just not anything I can get past. Emotionally I'm over it. My neighbor in CR told me about Relax and New Fantasy etc which led me here. (bear with this disjointed post please) I'm coming down solo and staying the night of the 25th @ the Dunn and they are picking me up @ the airport. I have the morning of the 26th and then will get my car and head to my place and I will have thanksgiving with friends and neighbors South of Uvita.

Question 2, if you are still with me is: What is my best bet for the night I arrive? I want to have a fun girl (I was with my wife 24 years and am late 40s) to get my brain rejuvenated. It will be bizarre to be with someone else but I am looking forward to the experience.
Question 3: How early are the MP open for the morning of the 26th? I'm thinking Relax and Monicas after much reading here. My goal is success @ two places before noon when I get my car.
I will return to San Jose on Dec 2 and depending on my experiences may return early to make a day and night of things before I leave early on the 3rd....
Question 4: Where is the best place to stay my last night that will reliably get me to an early flight and are any MPs or other type places open early for a proper send off?

Thanks.

Thanks. I never thought to check the airport website. I'll have to go to the Colonial Casino in the back, per another thread. The best I can do locally is 465...not good.

Most MPs don't open till 10-11am. Relax and New Fantasy are open at 9am but selection will be very limited. The Del Rey has 24/7 action. Quality & quantity will vary depending on time of day.

For 1 night stay in SJ, consider staying at the Rey. Action is just an elevator ride.

I booked at the Dunn based on Trip Advisor reviews. So should I just taxi to the Rey after I get checked in at the Dunn? Is it possible to have someone lined up in advance? I suppose I should check it out for the experience alone. I am happy to buy a beer for anyone that would be there and point me in the right direction. Although it may be self explanatory, I suppose.

Yes, just take a taxi from the DI to the HDR after u get settled in your room. You will have fun. When you find one that you like taxis are always available just outside the door for you to take her back to the DI.

raiderz we may be on the same flight because we arrive at 8pm also. I have steve (pura vida transport) picking us up and I'm curious to know what to do that night as well. I think we will check in at El Prez then head down to DR because we may be too tired to hit a strip joint but you never know. Maybe we can meet up for a drink that night because its our first time as well so we don't know anything to be honest just what I read on here.
Bashfuldwarf on here will be in town that night he says and sounds like he is a veteran around SJ so he will know some good stuff to do

Sounds good to me. I am on the Miami flight. (I have a couple layovers to get to Miami). Not sure how to meet up? I had a cell phone for CR but I borrowed it to a buddy and his pet kinkajou destroyed it. You can't make it up.

Any relationship problems, my answer is always what someone told me in 2006, "Take 5 girls and call me in the morning."

No matter how hurt a guy can be, after being with 5 to 10 girls, I don't even remember my ex's name.

Two words: Monicas. This has been my preferred option. 9am to 8pm.

I broke up with a girl after 4 years. I keep thinking I was missing her because of familiarity and she knew what I liked.

Now after many visits to many MPs, I am loving being single again.

And, I forgot what was so special about my ex.

Yeah, I was devastated at first. A few months ago I started to get my "mojo" back. Thanks for the advice. I'm starting to get pretty excited. I actually am looking forward to being single again myself. Truth be told, if I could go back in time and have this stuff not happen I would. I was satisfied in my marriage. My wife had a secret life with drugs (cocaine) and alcohol going and I worked a lot for us to get ahead. She's been through treatment and regrets a lot of things. We have plenty of dough at this point so the divorce won't devastate me financially. It makes it easy to just split it up and be done. I just hope I don't fall in "love" with a tica. I agree with you that 5 seems like a good number.

And the vets need not worry. I vow to not pay "cien". I throw nickels around like manhole covers.

I would never be going on a trip like this with a solid marriage, so in a way, (I'm a glass half full guy all the way) this is a blessing and the chicas will be the real winners...(I K*D. I will be the big winner  )

raiders

You have a great outlook for a guy who's been through some rough stuff. I can tell your next life chapter is going to be great.

The Dunn is a good choice. 8 is not late at all. As a matter of fact it's early. Go to the Rey and you'll find everything you need. Try the Key Largo across the street also, but it's been empty lately but still live music. When you're getting a nut for the first time there, think of your wife and say very loudly, "Take This you Bitch!" If you're still talking about her on this forum, you're not over it all yet, but take my advise and you will be very soon.
