I will be arriving and staying at the Cocal October 21-26!!! Would be happy to have a few drinks at the bar if anyone is interested! Also was batting the idea of a round of golf! I am a golf nut!!! Let me rephrase that a lousy golf nut! I had considered playing a round at Las Suenos! If anyone is interested let me know!!! Looking forward to the trip and hope to meet some friendly folks! |

Los Suenos can be very expensive. What I always advise my clients is to wait until later in the day when they do the twilight special which I think begins officially around 3pm but they will sometimes charge you that price a little early. Normal price with clubs, cart, balls and a round of golf will be in the neighborhood of $150-$200 while twilight knocks that down significantly. On the positive side, the course is amazing. Perfect fairways, perfect greens, plentiful sand and water, a snack/drink cart that a hot girl drives around the course, carts with GPS and video screens with hole previews, exact distance to the hole and more. The one time I played was amazing. Nothing better than playing golf while Red Macaws soar overhead screeching while the monkeys watch you with fascination. By far the best golf course I've played in Costa Rica... In San Jose, the two mainstays are Valle del Sol and Cariari. I tell guys to check out this site to get reviews/photos of the courses, book a tee time and maybe even get your round a little cheaper. http://www.teetimescostarica.com |
