Been researching for awhile and decided it was time to take the trek. Think I have all my ducks in a row and looking to get the full CR experience.

Any down to earth vets willing to let me buy them a few drinks to learn more of the ropes when I arrive? I'll be staying at the SL all week, looking to hit up Zona 2, HDR, as many amps and strip clubs as possible, love to gamble and watch sports, so NFL sunday for sure, and will most likely take a day trip or two, excursions via front desk or something.

Goal is to nab as many as I can, overnights for sure, multiples for sure, and write my own epic week long trip diary when I return.

Who's with me?

-Z

Aw man, any vets around for the next week? Would like to meet up, shoot some pool, drink a bunch of beers, chat about the chicas, and monger as a group. Also interested in doing a day trip or two, fishing or whitewater rafting maybe?

Keep in mind that San Jose (where the gulch is) is not near either coast. So a day-trip from SJO for fishing or rafting is a freakin long day to say the least.

I suggest you hit Jaco at least one night. Head down in the AM, have an afternoon adventure, hit the Cocal that night, wake up early in the morning and go fishing. Then drive back that night (or stay a second nite and Cocal-fish as well).

[edit] just noticed your trip has already started ... sorry for the late advice.
