Brand spankin' new monger here. I'm all over the Central Pacific this week, but am "extending" my trip by myself for a couple days to check out the scene. I've been scouring this forum for a couple weeks and decided I'd try my luck at HDR for both nights, and venture out as I got more comfortable. However, everyone who said they'll be in CR during that time is heading down to Jacó for the weekend. Will I have a vastly better experience if I head to Jacó and buy you guys a couple beers to get the lay of the land? Or should I stick to my guns at HDR, possibly without the guidance of this wonderful community? Regardless, I'll be there, absolutely murdering the Spanish language I learned 10 years ago. - BS |

You will find plenty of like minded people hanging at the Rey, or go up to the Sportsman and make some friends there, then go exploring as a group. With all the info available here you will have no issues going it alone but I am sure you will make new friends very quickly. |
