CR Trip #7 is booked. Overnight in... - San Jose - Jun 2, 3 - Jaco - Jun 4, 5, 6 May come back to San Jose on the 6th if I can't find reliable transportation to SJO the morning of the 7th in time for departure. Taking the shuttle from Jaco seems to put me at the airport 45 minutes before departure so that is not looking promising. And I'm not excited about paying $100-$125 for a taxi to go 86km. Whatever the case, I'm considering staying somewhere new (to me) such as Mona Lisa. In Jaco, it will be Cocal. I hope to keep expanding my experiences by visiting new establishments (MPs, restaurants, etc). I'm trying to avoid the tendency to stick (only) to places I've been to before. I generally tend to try new places during the day, then hit the favorite (known) places at night. Anyone up to explore previously unvisited restaurants, MPs, and other places in either city, let me know. I'm flying solo on this trip. Or if you want to share a taxi from San Jose to Jaco or ride the $4 San Jose to Jaco bus together late afternoon June 6th, let me know before I book a shuttle. If you don't want to sit in your hotel, eat hotel food, and only have fun with Tica's 100' from your room, PM me. Nothing wrong with hotel food & hotel girls. But daytime can be a bit slow if you don't explore a little. |

Max, last 2 times I was able to get a taxi back from jaco to san jose for $50 and $60 with little effort...just stood on the main street in jaco with my luggage and on both times the first taxi took the offer.....sorry I we are missing you by just a few weeks |

3 of us will arrive on the 4th. And OLD will pick us up and go straight to Jaco. We book a 3room condo, then will leave on the 7 to SJ. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
