Well, I just can't stay away from la suissa centroamericana.

I'll be in SJ July 3-11, 2013, celebrating my 56th birthday on the Fourth of July. Yeah, I'll be at the Sportsmen's. I would have preferred a different room, but God bless 'em, they found me a room with very little advance notice.

Hope to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones. And yes, I will buy a round during Happy Hour on Thursday, July 4.

Thanks all for the good wishes. But one night will not be enough; watch for news of either a private "party within the party" on the Fourth or a private soiree on Friday night for select friends and chicas.

Circus, you know me better than I know myself sometimes. Frankly, this trip is out of the norm for me; I ordinarily spread my trips to C.R. by several months, not by six weeks...but you're right. I cannot stay away.
