Looking forward to meeting (1) las chicas (flacas) calientes and (2) CRT vets...coming down with a friend, staying in the balcony rooms at the HDR. Pura vida!

BTW, does anyone know of any "gulch walking tour" providers (for hire)? In older threads I had read about Pop's tours, but couldn't find anything on this topic of late.

I would give you a tour but unfortunately I leave a few days before you arrive. Can always check with Puravidatransport about getting a tour.

I stay at Sportsmans but will be in and out of HDR often. One of our group is not arriving until late on the 14th so I will be waiting for him at the HDR usually by the tables on the avaneda 1 side of the bar. I should be there from about 10pm until he arrives. I wear an elephant hair bracelet if you notice me say hello and I will tell you what I can.

Did you get the corner room? Think it is 607/608 or 609? That is the "suite" lol but the balcony is large on the corner plus it has a decent view of the city.

Anyway those rooms are great. Someone told me some whacked out gringo threw a chica off the roof up there one time?

Have thrown a few parties up there :D

I will be around at the SL starting tomorrow for 6 nights. PM me and we can hook up.

Seawub:

Great tip!

My friend and I were picked up at the airport by Steve (Puravidatransport) and given a first rate walking tour of the Gulch by Steve (total cost, $60). I can't recommend his tour to any newbie enough (it costs $30 to take a taxi from the airport to the Gulch).
Steve is the greatest!
