I plan to be in San Jose for about 6-7 day,somewhere between 12/1-12/15. I've already been to several of the tourist sites within the city. Staying at SL and looking for other activities (when I'm not being entertained by the girls ). Any recommendations on one day tours or activities outside of SJ? What is the weather usually like during that time of year? Besides a rental car what is the best/cheapest way to get to and from Jaco (considering an overnight stay there)?

Take Paco's advice....I've been at the Festival de Luz parade and its a great party time.
Buy a bag of confetti from a street vendor and join in on the fun.....

The canopy tour looks good, its definitely on the to do list. Unfortunately will have to miss the festival, have to be back in L.A. on the 16th. See if I can work something out or plan for next year. What is the Mr Bubble Spectacular? Thanks!

The 1 day Pacura river float is up my alley. Staying at the Castillo 12/6 -12 /18
