I will be in San Jose from 10/16-10/23 for my very first time. Traveling solo & staying at HLH 10/16-10/18, Del Rey 10/18-10/20, SL 10/20-10/22 & back to HLH 10/22-10/23. Would like to meet some of the guys that know their way around...have a few drinks

Be careful staying at the hdr. Its going to cost $11 per chica per trip in addition to what you negotiate with the chica(s).

Thanks for the advice. I'm staying at HLH before the Del Rey. Do you know if they charge a chica/guest fee if the chica is brought in from somewhere else like the DR instead of one of the chicas in their own lineup? Also, what about SL? Do they charge a chica fee if you are staying there already? The reason I scheduled all three hotels is because it is my first trip & wanted to get a good feel & compare the three places but if people that know better recommend that I stay somewhere else then I could always stay a couple of extra days at HLH.

If I were you I would:

1- become a CRT VIP member to receive the numerous hotel/food discounts during your visit. It will pay for itself quickly
2- cancel the HDR reservations
3- Extend your stay at HLH or SL. Both are much better venues plus you get the VIP discounts off room and food/beverage,
4- If you stay at HLH, your VIP status will allow you to bring in outside girls for free. Also, if you choose a working girl at HLH, you recive a discount off the session. I think you can get a girl for as low as $35 per hour

You can always hang out at the HDR/Key Largo and bring your girl back with you for a small taxi fee of $2-3.

I'd skip the DR stay.

DGD, that is what I was trying to discourage him from doing, unless that is the only place he could find with a good room.

Jarod, if u can, try and get LaAmistad for one of those days. The service will be better and there is no chica fee for your room. Unless you can't get out of the HDR reservation.

Thanks guys for the advice...I've tweaked my plans and will be staying at HLH 10/16-10/20, SL 10/20-10/22 & back to HLH 10/22-10/23 for my last night. Will be going by all of the other places though.

+1 on the VIP membership. It will definately paid for itself on your very first trip. You can even make arrangements to pick it up when you get into town. You would not regret it.

Yes, I'm going to buy a membership. How will I pick it up in town?

Jarod, I typically got my card 2-3 days after the payment went through. Mind you though, the 2-3 days were days the mail would be delivered. It may vary by where the card is going.

pickup at the Dunn, right by HLH. send the admin an email with your pref after you purchase, the contact link is off the signup page, is what I did, email came the next day noting that my card would be at the Dunn

someone on one of the other boards send me this link, awesome for a n00b like me:

That map is really helpful, but they put new fantasy on the wrong avenue.

Jarod,
I am traveling solo to San Jose for Gulch activities from 10-17 through 10-19. Staying at HDR for two nights. Would be good to have a wingman. This is my 3rd visit to SJ know the main places but want to investigate the others.

Alright....sounds good. PM me when you get in town. I'll have my laptop & a cell with a local number. I'll be staying at HLH those nights
