OK my friends. Need your feedback again. A few years ago I was debating whether to bring my naive baby brother in the gulch & share with him the true nature of my hobby and why I love Costa Rica so much. With the help of your feedback, we stayed at the HLH (actually Zona Blue at the time) and had an epic trip.

Now I'm planning what I assume some might consider the unthinkable. Bringing my girlfriend into the gulch. We live together and have a solid loving relationship. The only thing that would improve it would be if she started bringing women home for me to bang! I'm bringing her to Costa Rica for the beaches and nature this November, and threw out the idea of staying in San Jose for a couple of days to get our freak on. Explained prostitution is legal and there would be zero chance of running into co-workers like if we did the strip clubs or fetish parties or whatever here at home. We have talked about threesomes for years, but for obvious reasons she's afraid of perceptions here in the USA. So she said she's game and trusts me to put her/us in situations that are safe an fun. She's ready to pop her bisexual cherry.

Am I freakin' crazy? Is this going to blow up in my face? I appreciate your words of wisdom my brothers! Would love to hear pros & cons from anyone who has experience with a similar situation. Talk me off the ledge or encourage me with tips. As always my brothers, don't hold back ...

Over the years there have been numerous guys who wrote about their trip when accompanied by their wife or girl friend. I do not remember a single one who reported that they regretted it.

If your GF is willing I say go for it.

Why worry about a sandy ham sandwich. :lol: :lol:

Try and get a room at hlh when you go. The rate for guests is $35/hour and they have a good number of chicas who would help you with wanting to let her explore her bi curious side.

I have a smokin hot girlfriend who would love to come to Costa Rica. I have given her the whole 411.
The only problem is her husband doesn't approve. She is a freak in bed and is very bi. She likes that I am not intimidated by her liking women. I tell her I cannot hold it against her for liking pu*sy as much as I do. When we go out I have a hard time keeping clothes on her. What a problem to have! :D :D

I bring my Tica novia once a year to SJ from Quepos for dental/ob/gyn, but then always stay at a non-chica place. Bringing a gringa, same, no problem, stay at a non chica place and hang out at non-chica places. Get her to the dentist for a cleaning, a great manicure, a good massage, hair style, whatever little else SJ offers for an Americanized gringa, or else get her to the beach. She is not going to be impressed with HLH, SL, Armistad, Freebird, Castillo, Morazon, DR, drinking at the BM or KL, or SJ in general.

If you do it, let us know what she thought.

I have a bunch of fireman friends (my father's now co-retirees) from my major city who come down annually to fish in Quepos in Jan, for years, in fact 7 years before i started going 15 years ago. In 2005, their wives came for the first time. Hotel they were at in Manuel Antonio was 3 stars, CR standards, Costa Verde, which ain't bad if you ain't a pain in the ass spoiled gringa. When the guys come alone, they'd stay 2 stars. The wives came and stayed 3 days at Costa Verde and went home, 4 days early in a huff. It wasn't Acupalco or Cancun or Aruba or St. Thomas to them. So add that to your thinking.

As much as I would love to take a girlfriend to CR I think the long term issues it would create would not work for me. I would not be able to go it alone ever again if she had fun. If she did not have fun I still would not be able to go if I was with her since she has seen for herself what happens down there. I am sure it would be fun but you are handing a loaded gun to someone and telling them to point it at you in my opinion.
