Mi Papi always told me that to accomplish anything in life one must set stretch goals and work hard to make 'em happen. I'm heading to San Jose for my 2nd trip, a 3 night whirlwind, and hope to check the following boxes: Saturday 1. Secure some vitamin V and aguardiente 2. Cigar and session at HLH 3. Sip cerveza, pull, and session at SL Sunday 4. Raft the Pacuare 5. Clean up and taxi to HDR, chum the shark tank, pull una o dos chicas to the SL for late night session Monday 6. Find morning session at SL 7. Afternoon delight at Bar Idem 8. Enjoy the ballet at Pantera Rosa So I ask the CRT intelligentsia, does this list, my crazy eight, seem doable? or have I built up an unobtainable fantasÃa which will leave me disappointed and disillusioned when I inevitably fail? |

You may never get past #2 when you see what you get for your money in the HLH line up and in Bruce's Humidor Room. |

Not so sure about the rafting being worth the effort with all the other activities......all the rest seems very doable ........hope to see you at the SL. |

L-Ciego, I look forward to meeting you tambien. I certainly plan on sampling the regional delicacies, but I'm sure there will be time for quality conversation over cervezas. You seem to be a legend on this board and I am not one to pass on a drink offer! SteelerJ, if we meetup we can debate whether Santonio Holmes was in or out when my Cardinals were robbed in SB XLIII!!! |

Looks like we may just miss each other. I will be arriving in SJO airport about 1pm on the 3rd, but who knows what time i will get back to the gulch. I'm staying at HLH, and looking to meet up with anyone interested there or at SL, my original hotel and hangout on my first 2 trips. |
