If you're gonna be in SJO, then head to SL. Was there for two NYE's and had a great time. Don't venture out to the HDR, it will be empty most likely. And a tip is: claim a chica early or risk being alone.

Not everyone goes to the beach for the holiday. There will be lots of clubs open. El Pueblo is a spot for girls that night among other joints...... Start out at the SL and go from there. The girls that are around will be looking for a party.

I'll be arriving 28th in SJO and going to Jaco on 1/1. I figure there will be more action in San Jose than Jaco for New Years. Jaco only has the Beatle bar for chicas and things don't start until late evening. Plus I don't like the way it's so dark in there and it's dirty. I'll be staying at the SL and alone if anyone would like to join me for a drink and sharing of experiences.
