To summarize dates: Cappodui: LA; 12/19 - 12/27 7Costanza: SL; 12/23 - 12/30 USA41: LA; 12/24 - ? Xcelsius: LA; 12/24 - 12/31? Background 7Costanza: I'm 40 years old; from Ohio; Caucasian / Asian; IT guy. I'm anticipating a very unique week, given the holiday. I'm assuming that there won't be many chicas at SL, Del Ray, or Key Largo from like 12/23 - 12/26 or so...not sure about the MPs. This will be my 7th trip (and that's in 15 months), spent most of my time at SL, so I have some regulars from there who know I'll be there and have said they'd hang with me. Some are day shift, some are night...but who knows how reliable they are. Plans for the week? / Wingmen Requests 7Costanza: I've only sessioned at a MP once, but I'd be up for doing that or at least browsing, if anyone is up for it. I'm always up for a walk to the central market during the day - probably like a 20 - 30 minute walk from SL. I'm always up for a good meal. I will probably spend a lot of time betting on sports (small stakes) and watching them at SL. If anyone else cares to share, please do... 7 |

Hey guys, I'll be there that same week. I fly in the 24th evening and depart 31st morning. It will be my first visit there, so it would be great if any more exerienced mongers could show me the ropes. Some more info about me is on my other post. Whats the best way to swap info? I'm a newbie on my first trip to CR (23-28 Dec). Recently divorced and going solo. Haven't selected a hotel yet but considering HDR for the 23rd since it seems to be "the place". Going to the coast fishing 24-26 will be back in SJ 27th. Would also like a wingman. Any input on whether HDR or SL would be best for a first timer? |

Hi, I arrive at 6am on 12/24 and depart early morning on 12/31. I am 40'ish and am looking forward to hanging with a wingman and learning the area, relax, practice spanish, playing poker, and going with the flow. I am planning on visiting Rio Celeste so will be gone for 1 night in between two 3 day stays at La Amistad. I'm up for all of the above and add strip club to it. I'm not a newbie but this would be my first trip during las vacaciones de Navidad. The roll call is looking good so far. I have sessioned at MPs on my previous trips...not sure how the selection would be holiday week but I'll be making my rounds daily  Arriving 24th ~3P.M. Cheers!

I'll be staying at SL from 29Dec to $Jan...as a fellow Ohioan , I hope we get a chance to tour the seedier parts of the greater SJ area. |

Xcelsius, i'd be down for a strip club too. I read in the newbie section some recommended places by Orange. I guess theres a few out there that can be ripoffs. How are the MPs there? Sounds like another good way to find chicas outside of the bars. Usa41, hey i think we got the same arrival/departure schedule. Wouldnt be surprised if i ran into u at the airport lol. Jb1962, sorry to hear bout ur divorce. Sounds like a good idea to get away and unwind. I'll buy u a beer. Costanza, I read in one of the poker forums that the crowne has some lively poker tables. Mostly 1-2 no limit, (sometime 2-5). Mostly small stakes stuff like the other card rooms in CR, but somethin to help pass the time and earn some extra spending money. I read they have a really nice gym there too. Btw, i read your last trip report. Sounds like you had an awesome time and met some excellent ladies! |

ill be in the hotel La Amistad from dec. 22 thru 25 ,, im staying in CR till Jan 12th ... looking to do fishing and sight seeing and traveling to beach towns looking for a place to retire and live. |
