If anyone is interested in fishing out of Jaco during the days for January 18th-20th please let me know.

My wingman and I will be in Costa Rica from Jan 13th-30th and am planning on a side trip to Jaco for a few days.

We’ll be staying at the Hotel Poseidon, thanks to the recommendation from Thirdworld.

Nice hotel, but for fishing in terms of rates and bigger selection of boats, I'd compare Quepos, 1 hr south. Lynch Travel, been there forever, has a website, that will give you some idea on fishing and stuff, lots of other Quepos fish sites, I have no tie in w Lynch. If you just want a day trip to see a really nice beach there (actually Manuel Antonio--4 miles south of Quepos), all the gringo captains and the fisherman hang out in Quepos at a bar/rest called El Gran Escape downtown Quepos, everyone knows it.

Hello DGD,

Good info, I’ll look into it, thanks!
I guess I should have been more specific. I was just looking to see if anyone wanted to split the cost of booking a boat. We’re planning on going at least one day, (either Quepos or Jaco??) so I thought this might be a good chance to see if anyone wanted to get out of the gulch for a while??

When you get down there, start spreading the word on the docks and with the captains, and if all else fails, in Quepos anyway, alot of times, guys will be on the dock looking to jump in for their fair share.
