Hi. I will be flying into SJO on Nov 1 and leaving Nov 7. I would like to spend a few days in Granada (first time) and was looking for a wing. Let me know.

I'd love to hit Granada, but I can't make those dates. Out of curiosity, are you planning on flying into or out of MGA or just bussing back/forth to SJO?

Likely by bus. Probably won't take longer than flight considering getting to airport-layover in Liberia and the taxi from managua to granada. Also I look forward to the bus ride adventure.

I am planning Granada trip. I fly into San Jose on the 16th of October . I will stay in San Jose for couple of days and then catch tica bus to Granada for a week. I then will return to San Jose for Halloween parties. I will be in CR until Nov 3rd. If you look me up I will be able to give you updated report. I will be at the HLH and Sportsman Lodge most of the time. Ask Boyd at HLH to find me. I want to stay at Valeries if that is the correct name of the hotel in Granada. They say Rita's bar is the place to hang out. I would also appreciate a wingman. Hopefully one that is somewhat fluent in Spanish. normall find me a Chica as a wingwoman.

guys in this post ....glad to see you making the trip to Granada Ritas bar is a good place to hang during the day as you will find the girls that are working during the day know that the gringos like that place.....

At night when its starting to get dark move up the street a little and get a table in the street near the irish restaurant ...this is a great area as the girls will keep walking up and down the street looking for you ....make sure you grab a larger table so you can fit more than 2 girls .....

They will ask to sit with you ...drinks are cheap .....keep your eyes and head moving as their are girls looking at you from other tables .....make that table home base (we ran a tab and ...yes we were putting drinks on it right and left ...I found the owner and told her I would come inside every 1/2 hour of so to view the tab....she was right on the money (we were partying and having fun ....I just didnt want any problems with my tab when it came to pay .....once they understood I would be checking it kept things in line ) not that I am saying they did anything to make me not trust them but the way the place is set up ...everyone is having a good time and getting phucked up .....its just has that chance for bullshit

People on vacation were sending drinks to us and back and forth .....just a big party (you will find girls american and from other parts of the world on sex vacations as well) we found a few ....but they got pissed at us when I kept grabbing girls off the street to sit with us ....a drunk girl from the UK got pissed when she see me put my hand down the pants of a girl at our table .....she kept yelling from the next table "hey what are you doing"
at first it was fun ....but she really got pissed (drunk) and I had to turn my back on her

Not sure if you guys are going solo .....I hope not as your trip will improve with a wing ....try your best to at least make friends with someone there if you dont have someone to hang with ....or just grab a table on the street and by 9pm your have a bunch of new friends ....I went to the disco and got back to the area (street where restaurant row is) and at 1:30 /2am the party was still going on .....and it was a monday !!!

If your staying at Valliers (just stay there it the best place for us) its a block walk ...they have a guard at the door and once you get off the main street you can make eye contact with him (very safe)

Not really sure how to explain it but after 35 trips to places of pay for play I can feel the eyes of evil on me ....and look for someone looking at me (the time I got robbed in san jose I picked out the 2 guys who got me 20 mins before it happened ....just that look you catch when someone is up to no good )

In my days in Granada I never seen or felt any threat of crime or someone giving us that look .....hope all of you have a blast ...and write a damm trip report

Chilimike thank you for the information, I never have a problem with meeting new people and make friends easily. I will find a wingman or a party to join . I like what you are saying about the place an it sounds very interesting. I am sure it being October rooms will be ready available and inexpensive. I will give indepth trip report when I return and maybe have pictures included.
