Well thought I would hop back on here and give this a bump up!!! Still would love to hear any suggestions of things to do in Tamarindo. And any P4P ideas as well. None of us can speak a lick of spanish. Is that gonna make it hard?

Been to Tamarindo 4-5 times over the past ten years. It was my virgin trip also ten years ago. It has changed alot over the years and is now too touristy for my liking, but still a fun place. I have stayed at the Tropicana the last few times. It's super clean, in the middle of town right across the street from the beach access, and was pretty cheap. If you want to do a combo ATV/canopy tour the little one room building next to the Tropicana has a fun tour (if it's still there). They were also renting scooters that were parked out front. There are plenty of P4P opportunities but don't hang out at one location, typically move from place to place depending on what the hot spot is for the night. The last few times in Tamarindo I banged more tourist girls than the P4P. Something about the heat and ocean air must loosen them up quite a bit! No Spanish shouldn't be a problem. If you have the time go rafting for a day. I recommend the Pacuare river but that is out of SJ as a day trip. Have fun!

I'm just going to miss you. I'm in Tamarindo on Dec. 3, but heading to San Jose on Dec. 8th.
