I will be making my first trip to CR on March 2-7. This site has provided me with a wealth of information and appreciate all the insight. Since I'm a newbie and traveling alone would like to hire a wingman so I can enjoy myself and not worry about being taken for my naiveness. I have read about a person named "pop's". I understands he gives newbies tours to get you on the right course. How does one contact this person? Also, would be willing to pay top dollar for a excellent wing man during my stay. I made reservations at DR and SL during my visit. If anyone can provide some information on this matter it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey man Pops is in this board under the same name, i Pm'd him and emailed him four days ago, and he still has not responded. I will be in CR, staying at SL from March 5-13, we should def. try to set up a rendezvous!

wolfpack and itssteve ....just keep reading ....get the map .....sorry to say as you leave ...I will be landing (maybe one day over lap ) but really you don't need a guide ...after 1 day even if you have a little game you will be fine !!! just stay safe ...take taxi's and while at the sportmens say hello to everyone at the bar ....let them know you are crt and the rest should take care of itself .....we are all there for the same reason ....vacation, pu*sy and having a good time....if you have questions before going or while your in town ...pm me ...happy to share what I know
