Will be in SJ 10/29-11/6. This is my first trip to CR (have travelled a lot in S. America) but with all the info and maps from this site (thanks Orange, El Silensio, and Archieleich) I feel confident that I'll have a blast. Will be at Dunn Inn and later at SL (all booked up for months in advance for Halloween). Looking forward to meeting fellow members and seeing the sights and local talent. Don't really need a wingman but really like the camaraderie and stories of the veterans. But would like to venture to the beach for a day, spend a day rafting, or maybe fish for a day. Any members open for day trips out of the city? Should all be fun!

Amigo. I am planning a fishing trip for Nov 2 out of Jaco on the Sailfish. Capt. Bill has been great at finding the sails for me over the years. Could get the cost down to about $400-500 apiece if we can get 3-4 guys in.

Let me know.

Sounds like a plan.
Wanted to hit Jaco anyhow. A bit pricey but I'm game, especially if you need to fill boat.
Keep in touch. I'll have to learn how to communicate directly.
So we have 2.
