Hello All
My Brother and I are returning to CR after a six month rest from our last visit. We are returning to the SL. We are both 60 (twins) and we havent lost our taste for the beautiful ladies in CR; and all the other Latin American countries either.Thats one of the nice things about CR. You can visit one country, and taste the delights of Nicaraga, Columbia, Panama, and Costa Rica. I intend to sample each of those countrys delights 3 or 4 times each durning my week stay. If any members notice us in the Lobby of the SL, please stop and say hello.....Don from PA

Looking forward to it. I'd inquire about Philly Chapter meetings but my choice of venue would be Chris' Jazz Cafe--no pole dancing there, just great jazz.

Is that on the CR map? If not, what is the location, I love good jazz.

Sorry Brother K-Paxian, but I was making a sort of inside joke with Philly Brothers. Chris Jazz is on Sansom Street in Philly. There are 2 venues named the Jazz Cafe in SJO (1 in San Pedro, 1 in Escazu) but they feature all kinds of music. I was in there once when they had Middle Eastern music including 2 belly dancers.

I don't know of a place that consistently features jazz in CR--not a big enough audience base, I'd guess.

I am attempting my first trip from the 15th through the 18th..just waiting for my passport to come back to make the reservations.Should be back within a week so I can confirm.

I intend to hit the SL at some point. Most likely on the 16th.the 17th is my 38th birthday and I have been jumping through alot of hoops to try and make this birthday a good one.

Damn I hope the passport thing is trouble free.I sprung for the extra fee to expedite it.If it is not in by this weekend I am going to make the reservations anyway and hope for the best.

Ah that's OK, there's plenty of things to enjoy while in CR, so no big deal. I can listen to lots of jazz here in the US, and we have great jazz festivals, especially down South here, in Houston, New Orleans and all along the gulf coast.

I'm at the SL from 4/15 to 4/19 on my first CR trip, and I'll be looking for drinking buddies around the bar, as well.

Is it too early to start counting down the days? :D
