Yup, just like my trip last September, this will be eight days of mellowness and...not spending much money; aside from the hotel, I intend to not spend more than $400 for everything else. :D :D No drinking, no gambling, no pricey restaurants, no girls from the Del Rey, 2-hour walks in Parque Sabana, and with a few visits to HLH mixed in, that's my idea of fun. :twisted: :lol: :lol:

I switched to the Dunn Inn this time, as much as I like the Amistad, the DI's renovations and $50 for a standard room tax included beats out an Amistad queen room by $67 for the eight nights. Seems a certain group of other guys will be there too. :mrgreen:

I will be there 3/6 to 3/15. I will sleep on a park bench to save money. On second thought... Phuck it, I'll be at the Presidente.

I will be arriving around 4 pm on 3/3 to the Dunn Inn. Nhhank should be there and I am bringing some steak sandwiches. Look forward to meeting you.

BTW, I talked with Bill at SL. Sat, 3/6, from 5:30 to 7 we have a HH. It is hat night so bring a funky hat.

I might at some point stop by the SL, most likely for dinner and college basketball, but can't say when, as I might be hanging out at HLH or taking a nap. :lol: If there's a UFC match on that night then I'll be out of there early and back at the Dunn Inn. :D

Gore-tex is great for snow, I'm just sick of it right now. :D :D

I think we should pony up some cash....
For the Hiker Toms big night out fund
For one he does this board a great servise for budget mined travels
I would also think he knows San Jose well due to his means of transport
He posted some great pics of Karen from the day :D :D
Lets send Tom out on a night on the town with a few extra bucks in his pocket

That should get him one drink at HLH. Let's treat him to Sat HH at SL. I'm in for half Nh. Hiker, all you can drink at SL HH. What do you think?

Dean, "all you can drink" for me equals one Bavaria Light which I have with dinner and no mas; I can make it last two hours or more. :mrgreen:

Really, partying for me means being out on a trail. I'm not a big drinker, light or N/A beer is all I ever touch, I have no desire to get drunk or "buzzed", and of course it saves money too. :D

Oh yeah, I just drink water now at HLH. :twisted: :lol: And I don't buy anything higher than beer for the chica I'm with and maybe one other (like one of her friends). Last trip one chica, Samantha I believe, actually called me "pinche" and gave me the elbow tap. I loved it! :twisted: :lol: :mrgreen:

I have never sessioned at HLH but I know you know the place well. I think we should go. I am not going to deal with that Pamela, etc tip crap. First round, one Bav light on Nhhank. Second round is on me, one cold glass of water, light ice cubes. :lol:

Hey guys, I'll try and make it to the SL on 3/6. I arrive that day so it might be hard. Hiker Tom, are you serious about saving money? If so I'll have to buy you a session at new fantasy. You got to live it up while there.

Please give to the March of Nickels, help out a fellow monger. I am CEO so I do nothing and it is not my fault money is missing. Stop complaining about my salary and I sold the stock options to pay for a colombiana at the HDR. :D

Good stuff dean. It's funny because I have this old Cowboy that I'm thinking about taking but this thing would take up half my luggage. Maybe I'll go with my rico suave kango hat.
