Looks like the Rey Tejón is going to be in town the first week in April. I'm planning to hit the gulch and hit it hard for a couple of days, then go diving or something (no, not that kind of diving) for a few days and finish the trip back in the gulch when I'm good and horny again. If I'm lucky I'll get some semi-pro action when I'm out of SJO, but that is always hit and miss. Anyone have experience in SJO in early April? Is there a favorable taco to salchicha ratio? My Spanish es excelente, but my experience with the p4p action in CR is zero, so it should be fun learning the ropes. |

Yes, Easter is April 4th this year. In CR, the 1st (Holy Thursday) and 2nd (Good Friday) are official national holidays, alcohol isn't sold and the country pretty much shuts down. You won't be hitting anything hard then. ![]() |

I meant the first full week, arriving on Monday, April 5. Will it still be dead? I've got a business trip in Germany on the 16th, so I'm hoping to be back for a couple of days before I leave. |

Some pray that they might stop asking for too much "Leche" other pray for more "Leche" y "de los gringos para poner más dinero" So if you have not bought you ticket yet.. I would wait until mid April or toward the end of April, if you really want to enjoy your self.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Has anyone actually been in SJ the first week after Easter? I'd probably be there Monday and Tuesday and then again the following weekend. Was the action still pretty slow or had it started to pick up again? |
