Just introducing myself to the guys. Me and Nola504 are heading out at the end of August 26-31. This will be our 1st time visiting CR. I can't thank you guys enough for all the info. We have been to Rio a couple of years ago. Really not prepare at all then. We feel much better after finding this site. If only we can learn a little Spanish before then we will be set. Well then again, I didn't know any Portugues and still had a blast. If any of you guys will be down let me know. Definitely would like to hang out and get some CR knowledge and etiquette dropped on us. |

T4, Welcome to the board. I'm planning on being in CR on Aug. 26 - 31 also. You've got a few weeks before your trip, so I'd advise you to read various threads throughout this site and try to learn as much as possible before your trip. Trust me... it'll be time well spent.

T4, Just like MG said, read and read, it will save you on some dumb "rookie" mistakes right off the bat. Read Orange's posts in the Newbie section, print them out and read them on the plane so the information doesn't leak out. I'm at SL Aug. 28 - 31, come introduce yourself, 1st cerveza is on me

This has got to be the best damn site that I have ever visited. Lots of information and the guys are helpful as hell. Also very outgoing. I will definitely try to meet each and everyone of the CRT members in town when I get there. |

Wow I just noticed u will be down the exact dates I have. I will be staying in a condo. It is supposed to be right behind La Amistad. 2 blocks away from SL. Nola504 and I will be making our 1st trip down. |

T4, Welcome to CRT. Just a friendly word of advice you would probably be better off with accomodations at either the SL or La Amistad for your first visit to CR. Might want to rethink the condo if you are not locked in. Also with you and your wingman not speaking Spanish it could be more difficult to persuade some chicas to go there. Solo mes dos colones,

Damn. We are pretty much locked in. We had a bad experience in Rio. We had rooms in the hotel but we could not bring the girls back to the room so we had to pay for an hourly rate at another place each time we hooked up with one. So at the end of the trip we spent a lot more so we figured this would be better. Of course we ran across this site after the fact. I guess not knowing how things work in CR. This sucks |

T4, No worries. It sounds like you're in a good location, so you'll still be able to party with the boys at La Amistad, SL or the Del Rey - while looking for miss right-for-now. And if your condo is behind Amistad and only 2 blocks from SL, you should have no problems bringing chica's back to your place. But you'll still want to taxi at night. You're gonna have a good time, don't worry! Just take plenty of vitamins before the trip, and be prepared to phuck a lot! Pura Vida, MG

What’s up brothers? I just want to introduce myself to everyone. I will be arriving on Aug. 26 with T4place for our first visit. Yes we are rookies when it comes to CR, but we are Vets when it comes to partying. We were raised in New Orleans and we both have military backgrounds so we've traveled abroad and we know how to party hard. Our last trip was to Rio. I can’t imagine CR being better, but from reading these boards, it may be possible. The feeling of family and brotherhood that I get from this site is great. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you on or around Aug 26. NOLA |

Who else is going to be around the week before Labor Day? I thought there'd be quite a few guys, but so far it looks like the"real" sausage fest will be the following week - thru Labor Day weekend! Yee-haw !!!!
