Last month I met a few band members from a local Tico band that play 80's American Rock and Roll. They are playing this Thursday night at El Observatorio in Barrio California (short cab ride). For a review of the venues see this post by Novice: http://www.costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=135731 I plan on going after the new Thursday night CRT happy hour at the Sportsmen Lodge. Anyone else want to go? |

Senordos and I went to last night's show. The band is musically talented and the show is definitely entertaining but loud. The club has a nice atmosphere and the food was reasonable (I enjoyed the chicken, Senordos was so-so about his burger.) All-in-all it was a good time. |
