LC will be making his second invasion of SJ April 23-26. I hope to get back in SL if available. Who will be in town? Any special events going on during that time?

I will also be in Guatemala City for April 20-22. I will do a search on any reports CRT may have for this spot but any comments on activities there would be greatly appreciated.

Adios .....LC

LC, I'll be in town over those dates, I'm there the 21st to 29th.

As for events, well, looks like PacoLoco is going to be at Parque Morazan, we can go toss him a few colones! :P

I'll also be in town around at that time, doing a Spanish course earlier in the week, and then staying downtown in one of the CRT hotels on Thursday and Friday, maybe Amistad. Perhaps I better get a rez now. I'm looking forward to meeting some of you guys, if you can tolerate a CR newbie in your midst. I'd love to meet you guys for the happy hour, hike, or whatever the hell it is.

I'll be in town too that weekend. I have not booked my hotel yet. I was thinking Presidente, but the sales guy said they were all booked up for the weekend. This will be my second trip to CR. Any recommendation? I stayed at HDR on my 1st trip for 1 night, but hated the beds and noise. I then also booked presidente and it was PERFECT! Any one can recommend a similar hotel? I don't mind spending a few extra $$ for comfort, the ladies enjoy it too ...

You can see if Sportsmen's has any of the larger rooms left (new wing and Mansion wing), and if the Amistad has any penthouse rooms or studio apartments available. Otherwise a king or queen bed room at the Amistad is perfectly fine, and a whole lot cheaper than the Prez--and they welcome us too. :D

I will be in san jose for the 1st time from 4/19 through 5/3. Looking to party and experience what CR has to offer. Hope to meet some of you like minded individuals on my trip.

Also (A little off topic for this board), I am coming in to get some dental work done as well. I have heard San Jose is the place to do this at a much lower fee that in the states. Anyone, know what dentist to avoid amd those that are highly regarded?

It seem the SL is the place to be. I hope they still have a room left for me.
