I have been reading in perparation for my first trip to cr in a few months. I would like to say thanks for the info provided on here and ask a few questions......How does cr compare to singapore(ot) or pattaya ?.....Is there any certain time in the next few months that would be better to come down ? ( anything special going on )......Any advice about making the trip alone ? (i know zero spanish ).....How far in advance do i need to book a room at sl ? (typically)...thanks |

El Silencioso's 50yr bday is next weekend, Easter is coming up, don't be there then, CRT annual party is in August, Prices for a lot of the tourist crap go down in Aug... Rainy season starts in Sept, (ok Aug) it's cheap for a lot of stuff down there then... To book a room at the SL you need to book about 6 months in advance...that MIGHT be an exageration, but if you want a specific room, that's probably not far off. CR does not compare to pattaya, don't know singapore. There are tons of threads comparing CR to Rio/Pattaya... they can do it more justice than I... |
