A lot of goodfellaz are showing up in San Jose around Feb 21. Coincidence? I think not. :wink: Normally I wouldn't be going down during February, but the fact that El Silencioso invited (ordered!) me and a few hundred of his closest friends to attend his 50th birthday party on Feb. 21st, caused me to book a flight. :D

Among this group who are coming down to bust ES's balls are some of the coolest guys I've met in CR. :D :D For Goodfellaz coming for this occasion, give a shout out, give your dates, and tell us where you are staying. Or don't say where you are staying unless you want El Silencioso calling you early in the morning and asking you, "Are you up?" "Well I am now, dumb ass!"(was my usual response) :wink: .
Locals, please shout out as well.

My dates are actually the 16th to the 22nd. 4 nights at La Amistad, final 2, including party night at SL.

Is anyone taking votes on whether or not we just turn this into a roast instead? Between this trip and the last my notebook full of material to bust his balls with has just overflown and is danger of becoming unmanageable. I've got loose sheets of paper, sticky notes, photos, and clippings spilling out of the sides haphazardly and I'm worried that my filing system is unable to keep track of the copious amount of material. We're going to need to use some of it soon. Just the slapstick stuff alone should be enough to bring Chevy Chase out of retirement to recreate a version of ElS as the Gerald Ford of Costa Rica.


911, yes I climbed Twin Peaks after a quick what sounded like a thumbs up from you through ElS, and my extensive interview process. I have a standing rule to thoroughly vet any applicants who are that glittery, heavily modified, and tanned. Or if they are Colombian. Once she agreed to the terms everything was great. She was a buena chica.

Oh great, with the "cream" of the CRT crop coming down, now I know I'll never get laid! Oh well, I just come for the beer anyway.

I'll be there from the 16th to the 23rd, staying at the SL (17 - 20 in Jaco). Look forward to seeing eveyone. Save me some cake.

Don't forget the FNG's. HR Juan and I both arrive 2/20, both staying at La Amistad (thanks for the info/pics Western.) Hopefully all you certified pipe layers will leave some for the nuggets. If El S' birthday party is my introduction to San Jose, and I live through it, shouldn't I get some sort of advanced rating or something? I mean...talk about trial by fire! :shock:

NOT AGAIN PR!!! The last time we had that party like a clown, I had to burst the animals balloon and promise no pony ride after I won / lost the first bottle spin :roll:

It's going to be great to see some of you that I haven't seen in a year or more. I met El S on my virgin trip a while back and knew he had instant godfella status. 8)

No hesitation booking this trip for sure, besides it's cool to party with 50 yr olds every once in a while :wink:
