I have been away from San Jose since mid September and now I am looking forward to a great week . Once again I am planning to spend a day at the Fiesta in Palmares with my taxista and his family. It has become a tradition for me and it is really a good fiesta. |

I've never been to a festival at all in CR. I saw it's an hour outside the city. Is it really worth trying to spend a day out there? (With the traffic and hassle) I'll be there the 14th-18th of Jan |

Hit town on 1-18 for a week. Football championship games that day. SL might be happening. Will read your festival link. |

Due to the earthquake the Palmares festival has been postponed one week and will instead run 1/21- 2/2. PS I get a virus alert when clicking on the fiestapalmares link above. |
