Which destination would you choose? And why...

I was to each place one time. I really liked CR but DR was fun too, last year. Any more experienced fellas here that can advise and steer me right?

my 2 cents...if i had a choice i would pick DR but i have a trip going to san jose in 3 days, my time in sosua was fun ,very safe and very cheap. As with most trips the company you have can make or break a trip as with my last sosua trip we had a great group of guys with us and we had a ball on the beach everyday.
The things I loved about sosua * getting there was easy less than 5 mins to get thur customs and get a taxi(san jose last 3 trips over 1 hour) * about 15 mins from the airport to hotel (almost the same in san jose )* hotel new garden 55 a night no tax about the same type room at morazan but the edge goes to sosua as the hotel has girls coming over and has a pool we all hang out at.
Girls -san jose has the edge ...just many more of them...i did find more girls on my last trip to sosua but what i didnt like was there are many young girls out and about and that spells trouble ...plus so many more places in san jose to go to...
Daytime- sosua big edge as the beach was great, we would all meet at the same area and girls would come by and party , buying drinks and food and playing with the girls about a 20.00 day also we had scooters that were fun 15.00 per day so no taxi or walking very fun to pick up girls on the bikes...try having one in san jose ....never !!
Price- for my 7 day trip to san jose i put 4000 in my budget (i wont spend it but i feel i need to bring it) sosua -2000 spend less than that on 7 day trip...for me these amounts are high and i like to play cards and bet sports but again i dont have the beach to play at during the day so i find myself at the casino in the delrey for a few hours everyday
Food- same for me at both ..i eat cheap but i think better places in san jose
Feeling safe = sosua hands down -not once did i feel like someone was up to no good with me ...you can walk,ride and be most anywhere any time of the day or night in sosua...san jose = i been robbed twice once at knife point...but i put myself in a place where i just know better but put my guard down....

sounds like you know your way around...when you walk out of the new garden , cross the street and make the turn you will see a little rental place that is next to a outside bar (also if you look to your left up the street is the big bank) just tell the guy there you want the 15 dollar deal and you will rent it for more than a few days he will hang on to your passport ..at first i said forget it but was told it was safe (no problems)we took the bikes all the way to blackbeards ...just go slow and stay to the right ...took us about 40 mins maybe less...travel during the daylight hours as it gets dark about 7:00 blackbeards was fun and i was pissed i didnt at least stay a day there ....the daytime fun is the deal maker for sosua for me ...as i get ready for my san jose trip i wish i could play at the sosua beach and have the delrey at night

which airport is it better to fly into in DR?

pop hands down..my first trip i went santa dom. i didnt listen to a member that told me i was making a bad choice trying to save a few bucks ..man was he right !!! 4.5 hour bus ride was bad and to top it off cost me 35.00 to take a cab to get to the bus...pop is like 12 mins to sosua , i paid a extra 150.00 to return home from pop much better

Hello gentlemen! I'll be in Sosua from Dec. 3rd thru the 10th. Staying at the New Garden, in the new section. Wilfred quoted me a price of $69 a night. Chili, is the cheaper rate for the older section?

Been to CR 20 plus times and I still luv it, however, it's time to return to my old mongering place, Sosua. I posted a roll call in the section of other locations and chapter meetings.

I'm heading to Sosua tomorrow for my first trip. Wilfried of New Garden said he would pick me up at airport in POP for $20. Thanks to Scubabum, ChiliMike, Getrythm, and Phoenix Rising for their heads up info on DR. I plan to be in town Nov 25th until Dec 3rd, but may do as Getrythm suggested and spend the last few days at Blackbeards.

CRT member Haywood Jablommi is in Sosua now at new Garden so I'm looking to connect with a fellow CRT guy in Sosua. I also plan to look up Herman the German at his bar/rest on the beach with the plastic tables. Several have said he's the best chica connection after LaPassions.

I've spent quite a bit of time in CR over the past few years and find the CRT friends one of the best parts of any trip. I'm almost feeling gay since lately the quality of the CRT guys has been better than the quality of the CR chicas I've met.....but I like the beautiful flakita Nicas. Flakita chicas seem to be harder and harder to find in CR....Damn you Wendys! Damn you McDonalds!

None-the-less, I'll likely be back in CR in Jan-Feb.

I've heard mixed reports about that but it's a great place to hang on the beach anyway. Besides you can find plenty of chicas on your own they're all over the place damn I want to go back, please post some updates
