will be in cr from 12/11 to 1/6. Im excited about spending xmas and new years in cr but ive never been and have not booked hotel for xmas and new years. any recommendations on affordable places to stay? must do for new years eve? things to do the week of 12/25 to 1/1?

If you are staying that long, and you are paying for your hotel room yourself (not business), you could save some serious dough by getting a VIP card. It'll give you a 10-20% discount at various sponsor hotels.

Btw, it gets slower during Christams-New Years, so you might want to get some numbers of girls who will be around on those days, so you're not sitting alone playing pocket pool.
