| Post subject: | Nicoya Penninsula--Looking for some advice! |
Will be returning to CR in Jan. and am thinking of trying a trip to Nicoya Penninsula (towns of Samara and Montezuma) as well as town of Dominical, south of Jaco. Does anyone have any experience with these places? Any P4P? Are they surfer towns? Any suggestions or advice. Looking for some intel from someone who knows. As always-Thanks |

Jaco and Dominical are surfer towns, Montezuma is popular amongst backpackers. The ocean is pretty calm in Samara, so you will only see beginners surfing. To me Samara seemed to be a family destination. There is lot of action in Jaco, but I don't think you will find anything in the other towns. Maybe there is a place for the locals in Dominical. |
