i'm going oct 21 till nov 4 hope to meet up with some mongers to vist all the mp's i like to go to the del ray in the morning then hit the strip . :twisted:

Son of a bitch! In 10 or so trips I never found the fabled strip of MPs lined up like Vegas casinos. I am not sure how I missed it but I sure as hell did. I am so embarrassed. :oops:

It's true there's a strip, It's 6 miles long! Like many things in CR it was poorly planned... It starts at the NYB, down Calle 11, circle around then over to Calle 2, circle around then over to Paseo Colon, circle around then over to Central Market for a mango smoothie, circle around then over to Calle 6, backtrack over to Ave. 7, circle around then over to Ave. 9 and ends at ZB. (just ask BangBang he knows where it is.) :lol:

Sure thing, I know where it is :roll: :wink: . I walk it several times every week; only takes me about 5 hours, that is if I do not make more than 1 extended stop for 30 mnutes or an hour for some R&R (you know I am an 'old fart'). It is about 15km long and covers almost every area of San Jose and most of the Barrios and includes almost 100 MPs :P :?

I must say though that I have always thought of a 'strip' as being a group of like (simular) businesses grouped together in a more or less straight line. :? :? Guess I was wrong because that certainly does not fit the MPs here. Oops!! I am wrong;; there are the 4 pensions on 6th that are in a straight line. Maybe that is the strip :wink: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Ssss350, what everyone is getting at is "no one has, I believe, EVER CALLED ANY OF THE SEVERAL DIFFERENT AREAS OF MPs here a STRIP"

Guess that makes Pacoloco and me #s 4 and 5 out of 1000s :wink:
