OK, so I have little spending money and I work a lot. I can still monger for 24 hours. This is trip #2 for me. The first trip was also a one nighter and I loved it.

I have a SpiritAir r.t. for $211 from Ft Lauderdale on Nov. 1 in case anybody wants to join me. Leaving on Sat, returning on Sun. I'm 50, divorced real estate broker, Dolphins fan, not much of a drinker.

I reserved a room at the Sleep Inn ($95 total, includes tax). I know they charge $20 per chica but I'll mostly go to NF, LH, or Idem, anyway.

I am trying out this hotel for the future. Free airport shuttle (save $30), and free full breakfast (save $7). Plus, it's a real hotel.

Yes, I know that a real tightwad would never pay a chica fee but actually I'm just temporarily broke because I make my living in real estate. I'm a member of the $9 SpiritAir club but all of those flights are on dates when I cannot fly. Eventually I'll hit one. Plus they charge something like a $70 tax on int'l flights.

I'm starting to plan now so that my next trip after this one will be a 5 nighter in January.
