Hey Guys,

I am new to CRT and already appreciate all of the feedback from the more experienced members. I am going to be in SJO for the night of 9/24 before I head to Jaco for a bachelor party weekend. I would appreciate any input on where to stay and the best place for 1 night. Currently, I am planning on staying at the DR, even though my style seems more fitting to SL. If anyone is going to be around, let me know. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Hmm there's a thread someone made about a Bachelor party in Jaco. A brother who's doing his brother a favor. Are you a part of them?

No. Willy7. It must be a different bunch of guys. The bachelor doesn't have a brother and the organizer just decided to change venues. We're going to be in Playa Hermosa instead. I've never been there, but, hope it will be as fun as Jaco.

Not knowing you and your habits I can't really assist you. Do you like to stay up late, drink heavily, gamble and touch a lot of chicas, or are you content pulling one and going to bed at a more reasonable hour? You will be there for one night, what time do you land? A few details and the wisdom of the board may be more helpful. If you want to be Vince Neil for a night, here is your chance. :D

Oh okay, my mistake.

Hey Mia2Ewr, do you live in CR? What part?

Since you're only in town for 1 night, and would probabally prefer to concentrate 100% on the chicas during that 24 hrs, as opposed to directions (regardless of how simple they are), taxis, street beggars, security etc. I would highly recomend the HDR for your 1st and only night in SJO. It has everything you need and would want for 24 hrs. although IMHO there is certainly better food anywhere else. On my 1st night in town back in 12/06 I stayed at the HDR by sheer chance, as that was before I discovered CRT, and I didn't stop smiling the entire night. In other words the HDR is very safe for a newbie in shock, and trust me, your 1st night in the HDR, you will be in shock in the best way possible.

Getting ready for my 5th trip 9/23 and more excited than ever.

Mia2Ewr & GI Joe,

I am definitely going to stay at HDR, so I won't have to worry about travel, etc. Unfortunately, I won't be getting in until about 7pm and I have to leave late the next morning. Having said that, staying up very late is pretty much a given and this is definitely about touching a lot of ticas. I don't gamble and only drink moderately. Given my time constraints, I am planning to keep it within HDR area. Any suggestions on where to go and at what times (i.e., KL vs. BM)? Will things be hopping on a Wednesday night?

I hope to do Vince Neil proud. Thanks for your responses.

In my limited experience, I find that every night is different in CR. With that said the HDR is the most consistant thing going 24/7, but it is usually overwhelming from 7pm-midnight. I think the KL is known more as a late night place. Never the less, they're next door to one another. You can step out the door, cross the street, and circle thru the multiple bars of either one of them, and then immediately return to the other without any kind of line or hassle.

I've seen 300+ girls in the HDR at both 3am and 3pm, yet on other days there were as few as 60 at those same times. Hence, either way Life is good, you will enjoy your HDR night.
