I realize this is a little different then most offerings on the site but I am planning a 7-10 day trip around Costa Rica, maybe into Nica a little, on rented motorcycles (250cc-600cc). Probably begin in San Jose and end up back there after hitting many of the sights and of course taking some time for R and R. Hopefully get over to the Nicoya Peninsula via ferry. But can be flexible. Thinking sometime during the last three months of this year or first three months of 2009. If you even know of anyone who is interested give me a contact email or number for them and I'll give them a buzz.

Could be great fun. One website that can be viewed for approximate cost of bikes and tour is www.wild-rider.com/ They seem to have good feedback so we could rent the bikes from them although I am open to suggestions! Anyone else ever done this in CR before? I'd like to hear your take.

I'd love to do this. I would be available would be october 4th thru oct 12th. I already bought a plane ticket oct 4th thru the 8. I guess I would have to pay the penalty on the changes. No big deal. Let me know more info about the motor cycle trip. How much is it going to run? You experienced as a rider? I'm not but I am spontaneous and willing to try new things and don't mind getting dirty.

I have rented from them in the past. Bikes were OK and the guys running the place were OK.
