I will be in-town from 0630 on 8/13 and leaving the same time on the 17th. Staying @ the Sportsmens Lodge....Anyone else going to be there? Any idea what the scene is like over the Mother's Day weekend? Can't say I have ever been there during this time and am a bit nervous the Ticas may head home for the weekend. |

If you are awaiting confirmation via internet contact, I would call. I have never had a response via that method. They have a US 1-800 # |

I am now confirmed and ready for my first stay at SL, they were full on my last night in town...so I will see what I will do once I get there. I have a really stinking early flight on Saturday, so I might just stay near the airport. I "lived" in CR for three months a couple years ago and am very much looking forward to returning to hit some of the hotspots (double entendre) I knew and some new ones that have popped up. I haven't gotten a room yet. I thought I might just do HDR for convenience. I'm bummed...I had a whole crew lined up and even found a cool house to rent in Jaco, but my whole crew had various reasons why they couldn't go. I'm flying solo, and will likely just stay in SJO. I don't mind..I know I'll run into some people from here. I might take some day trips like a volcano tour. See you then. |
