Hello new to CRT and just recently joined the VIP pass. This is my first trip to Costa Rica and I will be spending most of my time in Jaco though a couple of days in San Jose. Been reading the forums alot these last couple of days. From what I have read most of the MPs are in San Jose, while in San Jose I will be definately visiting ZB, this there any recommendations for the Jaco area?

Also from the tips area, bringing own condoms, lube, only carry cash you are using but if you go to a MP do you bring your items in a messenger bag or duffel bag? And do they allow that or carry what you need in your pockets? And from what I read also is it alright to tip rather than use gifts?

Bienvenido to CRT amigo. The best advice is not to over plan your trip!Let it come to you.(i don't wear a watch in Costa Rica)! Enjoy your trip. Another piece of advice is to hold on to your jaw the first time you walk into the Hotel Del Rey!( how i love that place)

Yeah I tend to over think things but will relax it is a vacation. Thank you DrForm for the advice. Will be leaving here in 8 hours. Really looking forward to Costa Rica.

Be careful in Jaco.... Plenty of scammers, and the chicas will rip you off. Stash your vauables always.

The Bohio Bar on the beach is good for chatting with other guys that live there, get aquainted.

It's too hot there for me, and don't go there much.
