Ok, so before I get burned, I did search the forums, spent a long time reading!!!! but still not sure what to do. I plan on flying from Miami July 3-6th. tickets are like 200$, great! I have been to CR many many times, but always with friends, family, business partners ect. now I am going purely for fun and by myself! I have always stayed in Hotel Bouganvilla, but that is far away from everything. Where is a good, clean place to stay? Sorry, just not to kean on these little hole in the wall places. I want something that feels like a real hotel, this is vacation after all! What can u recommend? Should i stay in San Jose? or maybe go to Jaco for 2 nights? please, any advice is greatly appreciated! |

There are a ton of us in town that week. Get a room in one of the many chica friendly hotels. There is a list in the hotels forums. There is a happy hour July 3rd at the Sportsmens if you show up you will find many a wingman. Oh, join the VIP. $39 a year will save you a ton. |

Go to the Del rey and walk by the computers and you should see someone on this site at various times. |

For a hotel that feels like a (n American style) hotel, try the Hotel Presidente. Free hot breakfast, security, digital keypad lockboxes, spa, casino on premises, WIFI, no fee for one girl visitor (dress code strictly enforced)...and if you pony up the $39.00 to join CRT V.I.P., a nice discount on your room. I wouldn't really call the Sportsmen's a "hole in the wall," it's quite nice, modern amenities...but sadly, it is probably booked. Contact them at info@sportsmenscr.com and ask about a room in the new wing. You might get lucky...a 25 room boutique hotel with a Cheers-like bar environment, great food, satellite sports and yes, hookers (independents) who work the bar. May I kindly suggest that you visit the Newbies' Section and read a couple of the sticky topics, including Ace's terrific lists. Visit the "Massage Parlor...." section and check out RBC100's "Massage Parlor and Tico Bar List," which shows locations, hours and prices. Welcome to CRT, and buen viaje! ![]() |

i would stay in San Jose, since there well be alot of guys in town. look them up in SL. as for where to stay: Presidente has the best room IMO. but dress code and one chica rule is a pain. SL is a great place to hang with nice rooms. also try hotel castillo and hotel la amistad. both have very nice room and very close to SL. |

And most importantly- dont worry about a thing. whoring in CR is extremely easy and laid back. don't overthink it at all. |
