I got a few days off work unexpectedly. This got me thinking about an easy to get to, affordable, exciting place I hadn't been before. Luckily I came across this site last night. I stayed up half the night reading posts and doing research. Woke up this morning and booked my flight and 4 nights at the HDR!!! The only problem is I'm not leaving until May 29!!! I don't know if I can wait that long. The posts on this board convinced me that this is the place I needed to try next. Thanks alot for the great information. I'll try to post details when I am down there. Anyone going that weekend feel free to hit me up. |

Signed up for the walk on May 30. Really looking forward to this trip. I travel full time for work and alot in Europe over the last year but the Latin women are what I crave the most. Real glad I found this board. |

Hey DB, A great place to start is the newbies section. Pretty much everything you need will be found there. Don't forget to print out the excellent map and RBC100's list of tico bars and massage places at the top of the "Massage Parlors, Bars and Strip Clubs..." section All these things will help you immeasurably. If you get stuck between now and your trip, don't hesitate to ask questions in the Forum. Feel free to PM me if I can be of help!

If you click on the link that PacoLoco provided above, you'll see that we're having a happy hour gathering that day (May 29) at the Sportsmens Lodge. If you get into town before 4 pm, you should be able to make it. Talk to some of the CRT'ers there, and you should end up with enough info and contacts to make it through your weekend. Welcome to the board. But get ready - because now you're PHUCKED FOREVER!!!!

Ah, I remember my first trip very well. Every man should stroll through the DR at least once in his life. Of course, that first stroll invariably leads to many, many others! You are going to have a blast, and the beauty is that each subsequent trip will be better, at least that's been my experience. |

Welcome to the club... You'll have the time of your life and being in the Del Rey is going to be a sensory overload extraordinaire... Hey, you may never leave the place... But if you'd like to meet some CRTers and get some great info on how to make the most of your trip, why don't you stop by the Sportsmens on the 29th at 5:00pm... Happy cunting....
