Hello all,

Me and my buddy are going to CR in may. I am using cheapcarribbean.com to book the tickets and one place that it is coming up with at a reaonsable price is Barcelo Playa Tambor. Is this a good area for single guys to have fun?
What areas do you guys recommend and what hotels to stay at? We'd like to stay at a beach resort and still have access adventure tours and of course the massage parlors.

This $39.00 wll be the best $$ you will have ever spent in about a weeks time. In addition to all the hotel, massage parlor and restaurant discounts and other pertinent infomation you need you will be opening yourself up to a barrage of information there just for the asking.

Unfortunately in Playa Tambor you are not going to find any Massage Parlors. You may find a fw limited bars with working girls. I would recommend checking out http://www.flysansa.com/ or http://www.natureair.com/ for flights to San Jose/Pavas Airport, very short flight to and from the Tambor Area. (Pavas is a small airport very close to downtown San Jose.) San Jose is where most of the action is. You will find a plethora of Massage Parlors, Strip Clubs, Bar with take out girls the infamous Del May Hotel/Blue Marlin Bar as well as Hotels and restarurant information....There is also a very well prepared Map available for download to VIP's only with a detailed list of the above mentioned..

I second El S. I saved four times the cost of my membership on my trip in Feb. That alone made it a no-brainer. It didn't cost me money, it saved me money.

I would recommend going in and out of San Jose and spending a day or two on each end there for your mongering fun. Then go for a few days to a beach location, or a resort somewhere else.

But SJ is the best place for fun. You can also do day trips out of SJ to all of the touristy stuff, with the exception of the beaches. Those are little far to hit from a hotel in SJ.

A bunch of us are going to be around in May, hope to see you there.
